About

Behind the posts and projects is just me: King'ori Maina, a curious engineer with a love for exploring ideas in software, technology and life ... learning, building and writing as I go.
About

In-person most people call me "King" ... but online, I often go under the alias "itskingori". Outside my obvious interest in all things tech, I also love God, deeply & I'm constantly trying to be a man of character ... in a world of compromise.

Here's where I share thoughts, stories and ideas drawn from my journey as a curious engineer. Sometimes that means writing about software, technology and the craft of building things; other times, it's reflections from everyday life and the lessons that come with it.

I've spent the past decade working across backend development, infrastructure and platform engineering. Along the way, I've grown to value clarity, reliability and simplicity ... whether in systems or in writing.

I don't claim to have all the answers, but I believe in documenting the process: what works, what doesn't and what I'm still learning.

If you've landed here, I hope you leave with something useful, thought-provoking, or at least relatable.

You can find me writing here, occasionally contributing to open source, or experimenting with new ideas that blend technology and curiosity.
