This is an attempt at being accountable to myself in regards to the simple desires of my heart throughout my lifetime. It is also a means for me to trace ‘progress’ and God’s faithfulness over the years.

A number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. Comes from the term “kicked the bucket”.

  • Make a bucket list - (proof)
  • Build a successful (and honest) business that can operate in my absence; passive income
  • Build/buy a good house; have a ‘permanent’ roof over my head that is rent- free
  • Build a family: with a godly woman (you never know these days) and healthy kids; basically have a home
  • Raise my children to be men or women of character in a world of compromise
  • Teach my children the Word of God
  • Treat my daughter like a queen (if I get one) to raise the bar on the quality of men she will allow in her life (take her for dates as well)
  • Feed my family, never should they go a day hungry
  • Educate my children
  • Educate others (especially the unfortunate - who are not my children)
  • Read the entire Bible (not as a story book but in detailed manner, almost with a theological approach)
  • Preach the Word of God (an actual sermon)
  • Have Bible Study (complete with praise & worship) once a week on a day that’s not Sunday
  • Fall in love
  • Never fall out of love
  • Love my wife (in thought & deed - the deed part is the hard one)
  • Marry the same woman till I die
  • Never cheat on my wife
  • Start teaching
  • Speak at TED (global) about something cool I’ve contributed to the world … be part of the whole world’s brilliants
  • Achieve financial abundance with my passion
  • Mentor someone
  • Learn to cook
  • Read a book every month - (readlist proof here)
  • Leave my children a legacy and good name
  • Get a motorcycle (and ride it)
  • Sky dive
  • Go to bed smarter than I was when I woke up, everyday - (hard to prove but here’s how I’m doing it)
  • Make wealth (wealth is NOT money)
